Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches Executive DirectorRon Nolen is the Executive Director for the Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches.
After Ron and Jane successfully planted this first Baptist related Cowboy Church, they moved their efforts to the south side of Ellis County and began The Frontier Cowboy Church of Ellis County. Ron's unique gift of church planting replicated another successful western heritage church to serve this group of people that were yet without a church to call home. After guiding the Frontier Church through the building process, twenty two months later he left to concentrate on fine tuning the western heritage model and write the manual now used in the Ranch House School of Church Planting. Within just a few months, in 2004, he had begun the Ranch House Cowboy Church near his home in Maypearl Texas. Under Ron and Jane Nolen’s guidance and vision, there are now over 84 cowboy churches in this state that relate to the Baptist General Convention of Texas. It is the goal of the partnership between the Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches and the Baptist General Convention of Texas will foster the planting of 200 additional cowboy churches in our state.
In January 2000, Ron and his wife Jane started The Cowboy Church of Ellis County in Waxahachie Texas and served as pastor there for 15 months. The Cowboy Church of Ellis County is considered the “flagship” cowboy church and recently completed construction on it’s second sanctuary to seat the 1800 people that attend its Sunday morning worship service. 2010 TexasFCC Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches, 356 FM 55, Waxahachie TX 75165, 972-937-9979 |
